RENEWED TERMS AND CONDITIONS JUNE 2022


1. Electrical goods such as TV, computers, laptops and smartphones, which are collected by the customer from the branch (final destination), must be checked and tested by the customer.
The customer can only pick up the goods with a valid receipt and proof of identification (a passport, identification card or drivers license). A signature for approval is requested by Pleng Transport.
The goods can only be handed over after signing for approval by the customer.

2. Before the customer can collect the goods, the customer must sign for approval and indicate that there is no loss or damages.
As soon as the customer has signed for approval, no further claim can be made about loss or damages.
It is therefore important that the customer check and test everything before the customer sign for approval.
Once the customer has signed, the customer is no longer entitled to claim compensation for loss or damages of goods during transportation.

3. If customer has not indicated that electrical goods are in the boxes/packages, loss or damages of goods during transportation will be at the customer's risk. In that case, Pleng Transport will not pay any compensation for loss or damages of goods during transportation.

4. Electrical Goods must be declared to Pleng Transport, before using our pick up service in Europe and/or transportation services to Koerdistan and Iraq.

5. In case of missing goods, three times the amount of the weight of what has been lost, will be reimbursed as compensation (per item sent).
No compensation will be given on the items/products that are packed, which are not immediately visible what their content is. Because Pleng Transport do not know what is inside the boxes/packages and what their value is, unless it is explicitly indicated.

6. After the goods have arrived at the final destination, the goods will be kept for a maximum of 3 months.
If the goods are not collected by the customer within a period of 3 months, the goods will be be removed from the warehouse. The customer cannot claim compensation.

7. The customer is responsible for the contents of the boxes and packages. Pleng Transport is not responsible for what the customer puts inside the boxes and packages for transportation. Because Pleng Transport cannot see what the customer has put in these boxes and packages.

8. If illegal items are hidden in the boxes/packages, all boxes/packages will be removed from the job list and the transport service will be canceled immediately. It will also be reported to the authorities. And the customer is no longer allowed to send goods/post via Pleng Transport and future assignments will not be accepted.

9. If the customer is not satisfied, a complaint can be submitted to headquarters in Almere by sending an e-mail to the e-mail address info@plengtransport.com.

10. The driver will show these conditions to each customer (and if necessary also explain or translate), before the goods are taken from the customer.
Before the driver takes the goods from the customer, the customer has to accept the terms and conditions and sign the receipt. By signing the receipt, it means that the customer has agreed to the terms and conditions of Pleng Transport.

11. Pleng Transport is not liable for any errors, inaccuracies and incorrect information on its website. The customer cannot derive any rights from the content on the website www.plengtransport.com.

12. Pleng Transport is entitled to amend these general terms and conditions. A new general terms and conditions will be published on the website www.plengtransport.com.

13. A new general terms and conditions always replaces the old general terms and conditions.
